Project Summary
After a national solicitation for bids, Rangel Construction was chosen for the Scottsbluff National Monument Visitor Center project in Gering, NE, based on best overall value. The job consisted of an historic rehabilitation of the center along with a new addition. Aspects of the work included deconstruction and demolition of multiple areas of the visitor center as well as construction of additions on the north and east sides of the building, with stucco and brick veneer, new HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and finishes throughout the existing and new portions of the building, adobe repair, and other associated sitework. The project was completed within the timeframe and budget required by the federal government. See our “Videos” page for more information on this project.
